Janss Marketplace recently hosted its inaugural Talent and Model Search.

The title of "2009 Beauty/ Talent of the Year" was awarded to Josephine Parks.

The winners in each age category were Cotton Oliver (age 2 and under), Evan Kyriazopoulos (age 3 to 4), Josephine Parks (age 5 to 8), Madi Green (age 9 to 12) and Melissa Klein (age 13 to 18).

All finalists were provided with free hairstyling and makeup from Thousand Oaks Beauty Collection. The winners received $50 to $250 in prizes donated by participating merchants.

The event was hosted by Michael Zanuck, CEO of MZA Talent agency, with a special appearance by celebrity judge Symba Smith, former Miss Teen All-American.

Janss Marketplace is at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
