Book drive to benefit patients with cancer

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura is collecting books to raise funds for its free programs of support and education for people with cancer and their families in the community.

New and gently used books can be dropped off between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays until May 10 at The Wellness Community, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village. Donors will receive receipts for tax deduction.

The book sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sat. and Sun., May 16 to 17 on the second floor of The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks, near Macy's Women.
