The Community Forum presents singer/songwriter Jim Scott in concert at 7:30 p.m. Fri., May 15 at the Conejo Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3327 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park.

Scott has recorded seven albums of original music and created "The Earth and Spirit Songbook," an anthology of 110 songs of earth and peace by contemporary songwriters.

In 2002 Scott helped to create the "Green Sanctuary" program and accompanying handbook for building an ecological/spiritual awareness in church congregations.

He supports environmental and peace causes with his music.
