AAUW concert celebrates spring

The American Association of University Women will host the inaugural Springtime Musicale concert at 1:30 p.m. Sun., May 31 at the home of Liz Priedkalns in Thousand Oaks.

The concert will feature both classical and modern music by AAUW members playing clarinet, cello, viola, piano. A vocalist will also perform.

Reception with refreshments, door prizes and music by an Indian flute will follow the program.

Tickets are an $8 donation. Reservation deadline is May 15.

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research.
