Lions Club roars again

After a 10-year absence, the Lions Club of Thousand Oaks will restart with a charter night dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wed., May 13 at the Greenhouse Cafe, 652 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.
New, transferring and returning Lions may become charter members at the meeting for a $30 initiation fee.
Membership is open to all women and men age 18 and older.
The charter members will select times, dates and places for regular meetings and also the annual dues.
Lions Club International sponsors a variety of service projects, with an emphasis on aiding the blind and visually impaired.
