•Jiwoon Chang of Thousand Oaks was named to the dean's list for the fall 2008 semester at The Johns Hopkins University. To qualify for this honor, students must earn a grade of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking a minimum of 14 credit hours.

Chang, the son of Okran Chang, attended Westlake High School and is majoring in molecular and cellular biology. His target graduation date is May 2010.

•Nicholas Panzica was named to the winter term 2009 dean's list at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Conn.

Panzica is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Panzica of Thousand Oaks.
