The Channel Islands Chapter of the Links Inc. will host a Mother's Day Tea from 2 to 5 p.m. Sat., May 9 at the Gardens of the World, 2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

Amy Johnson of KCAL 9 news will serve as mistress of ceremony.

The event will have musical and poetic tributes, motivational speakers, vendors, professional photography, networking reception and entertainment.

A children's tea party will be presented for children ages 2 to 12.

Tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for children ages 12 and under. Reservations are required. Complimentary valet parking will be provided.
