The American Academy of Self Defense will offer a free Get & Stay Safe Seminar to adults and children from 10 a.m. to noon Sat., May 16 at 3345 Kimber Drive, Ste. D, Newbury Park.

The seminar will include fire safety, earthquake safety, children's first aid, Internet safety and street smarts.

The event will also have giveaways, a raffle, and free drinks and finger foods.

Reservations are requested by Fri., May 15.
