Thousand Oaks High sophomore Marcos Giron won the CIF Boys' singles crown with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over top-seeded Clay Thompson of Crossroads High during last weekend's 109th annual Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament at Libbey Park in Ojai.

Giron's TOHS teammate, Kyle McMorrow, won the boys' title last year.

Sivan Krems, an eighth-grader from Thousand Oaks, was victorious in the Girls' 14 singles championship match.

Krems, 13, the division's top seed, defeated Yuki Chiang of Ojai 6-2, 6-1 in the final.
