The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley will host the annual juried exhibit open to artists from the tri-counties from May 6 through 31 at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery (next to the Newbury Park Branch Library), 2331-A Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

This year's theme is "May Oui."

Recognized artists will judge the show. Cash prizes will be awarded for first place in each category, along with Best in Show.

A People's Choice Award ribbon will be given based on viewers' votes.

Categories are painting oil/ acrylic, painting watercolor, photography, mixed and miscellaneous, pastel, and graphics and 3-D.
