      The Oaks Christian baseball team is trying to slug its way to a Tri-Valley League championship. Opposing pitchers have found little room for error when facing the Lions' offense this season. OCHS entered the week hitting .393 as a team, and the starting lineup featured five players batting above .460.

      Clay Matthews III is going to play for one of the most storied franchises in all of sports. The 2004 Agoura High graduate and former USC walk-on was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the first round, pick No. 26, during last Saturday's NFL Draft.

Local tennis players win big in Ojai
      Thousand Oaks High sophomore Marcos Giron won the CIF Boys' singles crown with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over top-seeded Clay Thompson of Crossroads High during last weekend's 109th annual Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament at Libbey Park in Ojai.
