Event promotes healthy kids
      The Conejo Valley and Miller Family YMCAs will celebrate YMCA Healthy Kids Day Sat., May 16. Swine flu not in Conejo Valley, yet
Ventura County Public Health officials, others in the healthcare profession are keeping a watchful eye on it

      Though no cases of swine flu have been reported in Ventura County, Conejo Valley doctors are preparing for the virus to surface locally. Swine flu has reportedly killed an estimated 150 people worldwide since mid-March.

Caring quilt selling squares
      The community may still purchase a square in the American Red Cross of Ventura County Quilt of Caring Program. The large, multicolored quilt will feature the names of individuals who have donated or who are recognizing the memory of a family member who may have benefited from the Red Cross.

Game day to raise funds for UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation
      The Conejo Valley Guild of the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation at UCLA will present Game Day from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tues., May 12 at North Ranch Country Club, 4761 Valley Springs Drive, Westlake Village. The event will include a buffet luncheon, boutiques, silent auction and raffle baskets.
