•Fun and Games @ your library, 3 to 5:30 p.m. Fri., May 1. For teens ages 12 and up. Bring favorite board or hand-held games, socks and water. Wii, Rock Band, DDR and Guitar Hero along with board games like Jenga, Twister and Pictureka will be available. Program will be repeated Sat., May 9 at the Newbury Park Branch. Call for times and location.

•Storyteller Donald Davis will present traditional stories and tall tales at 2 p.m., Sun., May 3. Sponsored by Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library.

•"Grandmas Rock!" 2 p.m. Sat., May 9. "Grandmas Rock!" is a comedic play read by character actress and grandma Jackie Goldberg. The author, Gordon Durich, is a local writer, producer and actor.

•Movie matinee, 1 p.m. Mon., May 11. Free screening of "Norma Rae." Sally Field won Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of a young mother and textile worker who unionizes her workplace. Beau Bridges also stars. Rated PG, 110 minutes.

•Exploring Shipwrecks, 7 p.m. Wed., May 13. Robert Schwemmer from the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary discusses shipwrecks off the coast, his underwater dives, and photos.

•The library offers classes in computer basics and Internet use and story times for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Call the library for more information.
