Boys' tennis team gets by Newbury Park

      Thousand Oaks High senior Chad Kingi does it all. In March, Kingi was a member of the Lancer basketball squad that won a CIF-Southern Section Division I title, the first in program history. These days, the 17-year-old setter is one of the top boys' volleyball players in the area and is averaging 30 assists per game.

NPHS 4x100 relay squad sets school record
      IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE— The Newbury Park High girls' 4x100 relay team set a school record of 48.69 seconds in the open race at the Mount San Antonio College Relays last Saturday. The team had the fastest time of all 63 schools that raced in the open division. Team members, from left, are Morgan Thompson, Raven Chavanne, Amy Galipeau and Megan Thompson.
