Young people are needed to serve on Youth Commission
      The city of T.O. is seeking residents ages 13 to 19 to serve on the city's Youth Commission. The commission is a City Council appointed committee that provides recommendations to the council on issues pertaining to youths. It also sponsors community events such as the Therapeutic Dance and Youth Recognition Community Awards ceremony.

      The SoCal Curling Club will host an open curling session from 7 to 9:15 p.m. Sat., April 25 at the Iceoplex, 131 W. Easy St., Simi Valley. Curling is a Winter Olympics sport. The session is open to adults and children 12 and older. Cost is $20, which covers equipment and instruction. No experience is required.
