Organizers of the California Strawberry Festival have extended the arts and crafts artist application deadline. Applications are still being accepted on a continuous basis for space or waiting list consideration.

The festival will be on May 16 and 17 in Oxnard.

No mass or commercially produced arts and crafts items are acceptable. Product quality and presentation play a key role in the selection process.

The festival attracts artists from across America. The juried showcase, with more than 300 presenters, features a variety of mediums including collage, drawings, leather, glass, mosaic, mixed media, photography, graphic art, sculpture, handmade toys and youth accessories.

The jewelry and hats with accessories categories are full.
