      The Marmonte League has formally invited Oaks Christian to join its ranks for all high school sports beginning during the 2010-11 season. A league-wide vote was cast during a regularly scheduled monthly meeting Tuesday in Westlake, said Marmonte League president Anna Merriman.

Area's top basketball, soccer players earn All-CIF honors
      The CIF-Southern Section has announced its All-CIF teams for boys' and girls' basketball and soccer. In boys' hoops, Thousand Oaks High junior Alex Tiffin was named Player of the Year in Division IIAA. Richard Endres of the Lancers was the division's Coach of the Year. Thousand Oaks' Antonio Lopez made the Division IIAA first team.
