Newbury Park
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 46, at 11:32 p.m. March 31 at Reino Road and Mayfield Street; a male, 24, at 10:40 p.m. March 27 at Calle Turquesa and Avenida del Platino (subject allegedly possessed a baseball bat, a dangerous weapon); and a female, 39, at 6 p.m. March 28 in the 1300 block of Alessandro Drive.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 21, at 4:15 p.m. April 1 in the 4000 block of Barcelona Lane (subject allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia); and a female, 46, at 7 p.m. March 27 in the 300 block of N. Ventu Park Road.
A female, 23, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, petty theft and identity theft at 11 a.m. April 1 at Reino and Borchard roads.
Two males, 21 and 20, were cited for alleged petty theft at 2 p.m. March 27 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.
A male, 23, was arrested on a charge of attempted grand theft at 3:45 p.m. March 28 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.
Burglars broke into and stole property from locked storage containers and a gated outdoor warehouse area on March 30 or 31 in the 1300 block of Lawrence Drive.
Bicycle tires were slashed on April 2 in the 100 block of Dorena Drive.
A male, 48, was arrested and charged with possessing a large quantity of a substance believed to be marijuana at 11:15 p.m. March 29 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.
On suspicion of being drunk in public, a male, 28, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. March 31 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.
According to police, a male, 27, held an open container of malt liquor, had an odor of alcohol on his breath, talked with a slur and was unsteady on his feet, and his eyes were bloodshot and watery. Police said the subject began making bizarre statements, stating that he was sent by God to test people for "Samaritan-ship." The subject was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 7:30 p.m. April 1 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: March 26 or 27 in the 1700 block of Newbury Road ($4,000 in damage); between 9:40 and 10:05 p.m. March 27 in the 2000 block of Yellowthroat Place (almost $900 and a purse were stolen from the unlocked vehicle); March 27 or 28 in the 4700 block of Via Don Luis; and March 26 or 27 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.
Thousand Oaks
An assailant hit someone on the head with a glass bottle, causing an injury, around 12:42 a.m. March 29 in the 1900 block of Burleson Avenue.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 52, at 12:50 a.m. March 31 on the southbound 101 Freeway/Westlake Boulevard onramp; a male, 38, at 1:45 a.m. April 2 at Sidlee Street and Lynn Road; a female, 43, at 10:22 p.m. March 29 at Erbes Road and Monte Carlo Drive (subject was charged with two counts of child endangerment, and allegedly was driving on the wrong side of a divided road and injured another person in a collision with another vehicle); and a male, 59, at 6:30 p.m. April 1 in the 2000 block of Dewberry Court.
A male, 31, allegedly battered his ex-girlfriend and attempted to stop her from calling the police at 8:43 p.m. March 28 in the 1600 block of Margate Place.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 42, at 2:40 a.m. March 31 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road (subject allegedly possessed a device used to ingest illegal narcotics); a male, 43, at 8:50 a.m. March 31 in the 3600 block of Mapleknoll Place (subject allegedly possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine and three syringes); a male, 18, at 6 p.m. March 31 in the 1700 block of Orinda Court (subject allegedly possessed a controlled substance and a device used to inject illegal substances); a male, 24, at 7 p.m. April 1 in the 600 block of W. Carlisle Canyon Road; and a male, 39, at 1:45 p.m. April 2 in the 2800 block of Instone Court.
A female, 19, was arrested and charged with possessing a hypodermic needle and Xanax and Vicodin without prescriptions at 11:10 p.m. March 31 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road. The subject allegedly admitted that she had used the needle to inject heroin into her left arm.
A male, 19, was arrested and charged with battery, vandalism and street terrorism at 11:15 p.m. April 1 at Waverly Park on Avenida de Las Flores.
A burglar smashed a Thousand Oaks High School gym window with a metal object before stealing property on March 28 or 29. The damage was $1,000.
A male, 18, was cited for reckless driving after allegedly accelerating in his red Mazda Miata through a crowded parking lot at 2:06 a.m. April 3 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road. The subject's car was impounded because the registration had expired.
On suspicion of recklessly driving his motorcycle through a residential neighborhood, a male, 41, was cited at 5:30 p.m. March 28 at Robin Hill Street and Birdsong Avenue.
A male, 21, was cited for allegedly possessing Valium and Xanax without prescriptions at 12:15 a.m. April 1 in the dead end of Calle Riscoso.
For allegedly violating a court order by harassing someone, a male, 65, was cited at 3:30 p.m. March 30 in the 1600 block of Hawksway Court. A female, 58, was cited for allegedly violating a court order in the same block on March 24.
A male, 18, was cited on suspicion of shoplifting at 4:56 p.m. April 2 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
Three males between the ages of 25 and 39 were allegedly fishing from the Calleguas Municipal Water District reservoir in the 2100 block of Olsen Road and were cited for trespassing around 11:30 p.m. March 27.
A male, 68, was cited for allegedly making annoying phone calls on March 30 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.
A shoplifter stole more than $400 in property from Marty's Hobbies store on Moorpark Road between 6 and 6:25 p.m. March 30.
On suspicion of threatening to commit a crime in the first block of N. Madrid Avenue on March 20, a male, 40, was arrested March 30 in Apple Valley.
A male, 24, was cited for allegedly being involved in a hitand-run traffic accident and driving with a suspended license at 8:30 p.m. April 1 in the 900 block of Avenida de Las Flores.
A burglar stole $5,700 in valuables on April 1 in the 3600 block of Old Conejo Road.
Grand theft occurred on April 1 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road.
A wallet was stolen on March 27 in the 300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
Burglars stole more than $400 in property between midnight and 2:30 a.m. March 28 in the 1600 block of Twilight Ridge Circle.
A petty theft occurred on April 1 or 2 in the 900 block of Sheffield Place.
A male, 32, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 6:25 p.m. March 28 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road.
A vandal shot a BB through a patio door window, shattering the glass and causing $375 in damage on the morning of April 1 in the 3100 block of Willow Canyon Street.
A burglar stole $600 in cash from a room between 6:30 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. April 1 in the 1100 block of Woodbridge Avenue.
Property was damaged on March 28 or 29 in the 1800 block of Calle Borrego.
Shoplifting occurred at Urban Outfitters in The Oaks between 8:10 and 8:15 p.m. March 26.
For allegedly possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 18, was cited at 4 p.m. March 27 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Rancho Road.
A shoplifting was attempted at Longs Drugs on E. Avenida de Los Arboles between 9:30 and 9:35 p.m. March 30.
Gang graffiti caused $500 in property damage on March 29 or 30 in the 200 block of Autumnwood Street.
Property was stolen from a garage on March 30 or 31 in the 100 block of McAffee Court.
A thief siphoned $120 in fuel from a tank between March 24 and 31 in the 3500 block of Old Conejo Road.
A vehicle was vandalized ($500 in damage) on March 28 in the 1000 block of E. Janss Road.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: March 30 or 31 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive; March 30 or 31 in the 100 block of Avenida de Los Arboles; March 26 or 27 in the 2800 block of Great Smokey Court; March 26 or 27 in the 700 block of Tudor Circle (unlocked); and between Aug. 1 and March 28 in the 1500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 20, was arrested at 12:15 p.m. March 31 in the 100 block of Promenade Way and charged with committing a lewd act and sexually battering a child under the age of 14. The crime occurred on March 25 in the 2700 block of Los Robles Road.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: March 30 or 31 in the 2200 block of Townsgate Road (almost $5,000 in electronic items were stolen from a truck); March 28 or 29 in the 700 block of Triunfo Canyon Road (a wallet was stolen); and March 29 in the 1900 block of Stonesgate Street (an iPod was stolen).
A vehicle was vandalized on March 28 or 29 in the 1900 block of Stonesgate Street.
A female, 52, was arrested and charged with petty theft at 3:45 p.m. March 27 in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
A female, 18, was cited for alleged petty theft at 3:30 p.m. March 28 in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Property valued at more than $400 was stolen at a golf course in the 4700 block of Valley Spring Drive between 3:10 and 3:20 p.m. March 27.
A wallet was stolen from a purse between noon and 12:30 p.m. March 26 in the 3700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Grand theft occurred between noon and 1:30 p.m. March 26 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
