Newbury Park

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 53, at noon March 25 at Via Rio and Via Juanita; a male, 25, at 1:29 a.m. March 27 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road; a male, 61, at 3 a.m. March 17 on Ventu Park Road, south of Ramona Drive; and a male, 26, at 6:30 p.m. March 20 in the first block of Wendy Drive.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 19, at 10:10 p.m. March 20 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road (subject allegedly possessed heroin); a male, 43, at 10 a.m. March 26 in the 4200 block of Dalewood Circle; a male, 19, at 8:15 p.m. March 20 at the Motel 6 at 1516 Newbury Road (subject possessed what were believed to be Ecstasy and Vicodin pills); a female, 22, at 11:30 a.m. March 21 in the 400 block of Knollwood Drive (subject possessed a substance believed to be heroin, hypodermic needles, spoons and cotton swabs.)

For allegedly brandishing a knife and threatening someone, a male, 30, was arrested at 4 p.m. March 26 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

A female, 19, was arrested and charged with grand theft at 4 p.m. March 26 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.

A burglar entered a garage and caused $1,000 in property damage between 8 and 9:30 p.m. March 22 in the first block of Cindy Avenue.

Charged with being involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident, a male, 30, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. March 25 at Lynn Road and Via Acosta.

Money, a credit card and a prescription for medicine were stolen from a woman's purse between 2 and 7 p.m. March 22 in the 1100 block of Combs Road.

A female, 21, was arrested and charged with vending without a permit at 7:50 p.m. March 24 in the 600 block of Paseo La Perla.

The Fresh & Easy grocery store on Wendy Drive was vandalized with graffiti on March 13 or 14.

Someone shoplifted at Ralphs supermarket on Ventu Park Road between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. March 16.

An unlocked vehicle break-in occurred between 6:30 and 10 p.m. March 26 in the 200 block of Asta Avenue. Another vehicle was broken into on March 21 or 22 in the 500 block of Walter Avenue.

Thousand Oaks

For allegedly committing multiple lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14 in Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Santa Monica and Long Beach, Ron James Wilson, 51, was arrested at 12:15 p.m. March 20 in the 200 block of Genoa Drive in Simi Valley.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 42, at 1:30 a.m. March 21 at Rancho Road and the 101 Freeway; a female, 46, at 12:40 a.m. March 22 at N. Westlake Boulevard and Cloverleaf Street; and a male, 52, at 3 a.m. March 24 at Peacock Court and Kanan Road (subject was allegedly involved in a noninjury traffic accident.)

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 30, at 11:10 a.m. March 25 at Avenida de Las Flores and Avenida de Las Plantas; a male, 23, at 3:45 a.m. March 20 in the 3100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a male, 19, at 3:15 p.m. March 23 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.

For allegedly battering and injuring her live-in boyfriend, a female, 32, was arrested at 3 a.m. March 21 in the 3000 block of Saffron Circle.

A female, 19, was cited for allegedly possessing a methamphetamine pipe with a burnt residue inside it at 5:15 p.m. March 21 at Hillcrest and Shady Oaks drives.

A male, 29, was arrested at 12:15 p.m. March 25 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road and charged with inflicting corporal injury to his spouse or cohabitant.

A male, 20, was arrested and charged with battery at 7:10 p.m. March 23 in the 2100 block of Calle Lys.

A female, 64, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. March 24 in the 3100 block of Foxtail Court and charged with choking and scratching her husband on the neck.

A female, 21, allegedly hit and slapped her ex-boyfriend on the face, causing visible injuries, for which she was arrested at 7:10 p.m. March 24 in the 300 block of W. Avenida de Los Arboles.

Two females, 41 and 24, allegedly pushed their way into someone's apartment and were arrested on a charge of trespassing at 8:35 p.m. March 23 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A thief stole $191 from a white envelope between 3:40 and 3:50 p.m. March 4 in the 600 block of E. Janss Road. The crime was recently reported.

A female, 29, was arrested and charged with obtaining a controlled substance by fraud at 4:35 p.m. March 24 in the 2200 block of Lynn Road.

A male, 55, was cited on an allegation of petty theft at 1 p.m. March 25 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Two females, 39 and 44, were arrested at 3 p.m. March 25 at McCloud Avenue and Hillcrest Drive and charged with grand theft. The crime occurred in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 30, was arrested on seven counts of commercial burglary at 12:05 p.m. March 23 at East Valley Sheriff's Station. The crimes occurred Nov. 25 at Albertsons grocery store on E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

For allegedly committing a burglary in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road, three males between the ages of 20 and 27 were arrested on March 19 in Los Angeles. A fourth male, 23, at the scene was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice.

About $1,000 in valuables were stolen from North Oaks Market & Liquor on E. Avenida de Los Arboles on March 21 or 22.

A home was burglarized between 12:30 and 6:45 a.m. March 21 in the 800 block of Cypress Street.

A laptop computer and printer were stolen from an office on March 18 or 19 in the 200 block of Fairview Road.

Someone stole more than $400 in property between Feb. 23 and March 21 in the 100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Property valued at $300 was stolen from a business between 1 and 1:50 a.m. March 20 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Almost $90 in cash was stolen from a business between March 20 and 23 in the 2200 block of Lynn Road.

A petty theft occurred between March 20 and 24 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Graffiti caused $500 in property damage at the north end of Moss Court between March 22 and 25.

Shoplifting occurred at the Bargain Boutique on Hillcrest Drive between 12:45 and 1 p.m. March 25.

Suspected shoplifters were arrested and charged with pilfering merchandise from the Anthropologie store around 2:30 p.m. March 25.

Shoplifters attempted to steal property from Anthropologie and Baby Gap on W. Hillcrest Drive between 7:45 and 8:05 p.m. March 25.

Grand theft occurred between March 15 and 18 in the 2700 block of Keats Avenue.

A mailbox was damaged on March 20 or 21 in the 1600 block of E. Janss Road.

A burglar entered a building through an unlocked door, smashed the glass of a vending machine and stole property on March 25 or 26 in the 1100 block of Hendrix Street.

Petty theft occurred at the 7Eleven on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between 8:50 and 9:05 p.m. March 21.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between 12:30 and 4 a.m. March 27 in the 1400 block of Calle Fidelidad (burglar caused $35,000 in damage); between March 6 and 8 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road; on March 21 or 22 in the 3700 block of Woodland Oak Place (unlocked); between March 7 and 9 in the 900 block of E. Hillcrest Drive (unlocked); between 4:36 and 4:40 p.m. March 20 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between March 9 and 21 in the 800 block of Camino La Maida; on March 20 or 21 in the 1000 block of Windsor Drive; between March 15 and 22 in the 600 block of Calle Sequoia (unlocked); between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 22 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (unlocked); and on March 21 or 22 in the 500 block of Serento Circle.

For hosting a loud party that allegedly disturbed the peace, a female, 34, was cited at 10:15 p.m. March 21 in the 800 block of Camino La Maida.

A male, 26, allegedly possessed a small amount of marijuana at 10:42 p.m. March 24 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Hampshire Road.

For alleged involvement in a hit-and-run traffic accident, a male, 19, was cited at 4:20 p.m. March 21 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, a male, 52, was arrested at 6:15 p.m. March 19 in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road. A male, 20, was arrested and charged with the same offense at 2:47 a.m. March 22 in the 1300 block of La Granada Drive.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 41, was arrested and charged with inflicting pain upon a child at 1 p.m. March 25 at Westlake Boulevard and Spring Valley Road.

A vehicle break-in occurred between March 1 and 17 in the 100 block of Lakeview Canyon Road.

A female, 22, was cited for allegedly leaving her 3½monthold puppy in a crate without water and in direct sunlight in her car at 3 p.m. March 24 in the 2700 block of Townsgate Road.

A male, 26, was arrested and charged with grand theft and petty theft with priors at 1:45 a.m. March 23 at Townsgate and Hampshire roads.

Shoplifting occurred at Blockbuster Video on Westlake Boulevard between 1:45 and 2:15 p.m. March 24.

A woman's wallet was stolen between 12:30 and 1:08 p.m. March 26 in the 2700 block of Agoura Road.

Graffiti was discovered on a men's bathroom wall and a freight elevator door on March 23 in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road.

Property was stolen between 1 and 2 p.m. March 26 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
