The Democratic Club of Conejo Valley will have its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tues., April 7 at the Newbury Park Branch Library, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

The guest speaker will be Dr. Russell Burgos, the Middle East military program director at the Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation of the University of California.

The topic will be "Obama's Iraq Problem: A Long View."

Attendees are asked to bring food supplies for Manna.

The meeting is open to the public.
