The Commemorative Air Force Aviation Museum at Camarillo Airport will honor the women who served in any capacity during World War II in a special event on May 9.

The museum will honor all women who served as a WASP, a WAVE, a "Rosie the Riveter," a spy, a reporter, a nurse or in any other capacity for the war effort.

The museum is also looking for the specific women's artifacts, such as uniforms and memorabilia, to display at the event.
