The 42nd annual nondenominational Easter Sunrise Service will take place at 6 a.m. Sun., April 12 at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park, 4600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

The service, which is sponsored by the Valley Interfaith Council, is free.

The Rev. Gary Alan Dickey of United Methodist Church of Westlake Village will deliver the message, "The Light at the End of the Tunnel," following a reading of the Passion of Christ.

Celebrants include the Rev. Brian Long of United Methodist Church of Westlake Village, the Rev. Craig Beeker of Westlake Village Lutheran Church, the Rev. John Burnett of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Deacon Joe Manion of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, and the Rev. Bruce Kitabjian of Grace Bible Church, Newbury Park.

A collection will be taken up to benefit Community Conscience and Lutheran Social Services.

Light refreshments will be served following the celebration.
