Volunteers needed to help kids learn while they visit the park

Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is seeking friendly and dynamic volunteers to help educate schoolchildren and work within the park's education programs.
An interest in teaching and/or the natural sciences is desired.
Regular time commitments are required from volunteers.
Programs are usually during the school week starting in late morning.
Programs are: Biodiversity for third- and fourth-graders; Shrub and Tree for fifththrough seventhgraders, teachers and parents; Parks as Laboratories for sixth- through eighth-graders and Studies of Wildland Fire Economy for high school students.
