A Michigan man was found guilty of felony stalking in Ventura County Superior Court.

On March 13 a jury agreed with prosecutors that George Castales, 39, stalked a 29-year-old Thousand Oaks woman after visiting her page on myspace.com. Sentencing is scheduled for April 20.

After he found her on MySpace, Castales continued to contact the woman over the Internet even though she tried to block his e-mails, prosecutors said.

After she told him she didn't want any contact with him, he told her he was going to visit her in Thousand Oaks, prosecutors said.

Officers from the Thousand Oaks Police Department were there to greet Castales when he arrived at her house on Nov. 5, 2008. They'd received a tip from the woman's boyfriend, who recognized Castales from photos he'd sent the woman, police said.
