Opponent to Home Depot is frustrated

2009-03-19 / Letters

I was a speaker at the Jan. 26 T.O. Planning Commission meeting regarding Home Depot.

I spoke in opposition to the Home Depot.

I'm a strong proponent of growth for Thousand Oaks, but when properly executed. Squeezing a Home Depot big box store into a "community shopping center" zoned C1 isn't good growth.

I'm surprised that the planning commission is improperly reporting the hearing, as I understand that my name wasn't included in the hearing minutes.

I thought all voices for or against were supposed to be heard, so I wanted to share my frustration with you and your readers. Amy L. Callister Westlake Village
