Neighborhood for Learning is expanding programs for infants and kids to age 5
Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning is expanding programs and services for infants and children up to age 5.
The growth was made possible through a partnership among multiple public agencies, including the city of Thousand Oaks, Conejo Valley Unified School District and First 5.
Neighborhood for Learning will open a stateoftheart facility and combine it with high-quality services at the new Neighborhood City Center for Young Children at 110 S. Conejo School Road, next to The Lakes, expected to open in July.
The organization has also opened preschool enrollment at EARTHS Elementary, University Elementary and Neighborhood for Learning@Way to Grow Preschool. Space is limited, and parents are encouraged to obtain additional registration information and scheduling of facility tours.
The following services are provided for children up to ages 5: high-quality program and state-of-the-art facility from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays; full-day infant/toddler care and education; full-day and halfday preschool; educated, trained and caring staff; childcentered and familyfocused philosophy; holistic approach for preparing children for school readiness; and a nosugar policy.
