Jewish community offers support groups

The Jewish community of the Conejo Valley is offering two support groups for those in need. Professional facilitators will lead weekly meetings at local synagogues for support, guidance, compassion and community.

A group for those grieving the loss of a loved one will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays at Temple Etz Chaim, 1080 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

A group for those caring for someone with chronic or terminal illness will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays at Temple Adat Elohim, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The fee for either group is $30 per month.

The groups are made possible through the support of the Jewish Federation Valley Alliance, Temple Adat Elohim, Temple Etz Chaim and Temple Beth Haverim of Agoura Hills.
