Lincoln will be celebrated at Reagan Library

California Lutheran University and the Ronald Reagan Foundation will present "Red, White and Blue: The Americana Experience," a tribute in honor of the bicentennial of the birth of Abraham Lincoln, on next Thurs., March 26 at the Reagan Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.

The celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with tours of the library including the Magna Carta exhibit and the opportunity to stroll through a functional Revolutionary War town.

A beverage reception will be held from 6 to 7:45 p.m. An optional dinner buffet will also be available during this time.

The CLU Wind Ensemble will perform a concert of 19th and 20th century works by American composers at 8 p.m. in the Air Force One Pavilion.

The program will include Aaron Copland's "A Lincoln Portrait." CLU professor Daniel Geeting will conduct.

Tickets are $20 for the concert, tours and reception. Tickets that include the buffet are $48. Reservations are required.
