The city of Thousand Oaks is seeking residents who are interested in contributing their talents toward shaping the quality of life by serving on city committees. There are three openings on the Conejo Open Space Trails Advisory Committee, with three-year terms ending in May 2012.

Applicants to the committee are appointed by the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency board of directors.

The committee acts in an advisory capacity to the conservation agency, making recommendations regarding the design, implementation, construction, and maintenance and regulations of the open space trail system.

Applications for the committee are due April 10.
