Learning the safest way to ride a bike

Eggstravaganza coming April 4
      Conejo Recreation and Park District will present the 26th annual Spring Eggstravaganza from noon to 3 p.m. Sat., April 4 at the Conejo Creek Soccer Fields near Janss Road and the 23 Freeway in T.O. The event will feature egg hunts divided by age groups, inflatable rides, pony rides, arts and crafts, game booths and entertainment.

      The Santa Paula Historical Society will present a new exhibit, "Born of Fire and Fury: A History of Santa Paula Fire Department," opening from 1 to 3 p.m. Sun., March 22 at the California Oil Museum at Main and 10th streets in downtown Santa Paula.

      The Miller Family YMCA will hold a movie night from 6 to 8 p.m. Sat., March 21 at the Y on Via Las Brisas in Dos Vientos. The movie will be "Surf's Up." Children will be allowed in the heated indoor swimming pool. Lifeguards will be on duty.
