I agree completely with Elizabeth Buckner's Feb. 26 letter, "Guantanamo is best for America."

I sometimes feel liberals care more about terrorists and their rights than protecting Americans from another terrorist attack.

Maybe they forgot what it was like to be attacked, since it's a distant memory now. I also want to thank President Bush for protecting us against another terrorist attack during his administration. Now I just wish our borders were secured both North and South to protect us. Ann Lalo Thousand Oak
