The Discovery Center for Science and Technology will present Dr. Steven Norris, professor at Cal State Channel Islands, in the Science Speaker Series, "Science Everyone Can Understand" from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thurs., March 12 at BaxterBioSciences, One Baxter Way, Westlake Village.

Norris will discuss the state of the world's oceans.

Tickets are $15 for a single lecture or $25 for the remaining lectures of the season. Discounts are given to seniors, teachers and students.
