ROBOTICS & THINGS of Simi Valley has scheduled its fifth annual ROBOTICS camp and workshop in Agoura Hills with the same programming in either of two sessions during July and August.

The first session is July 13 through 17 and the second session is Aug. 10 through 14. Both sessions are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with morning, lunch and afternoon breaks.

Elementary and middle school children can learn math and science techn iques developed by ROBOTICS individually and with teams.

The camp-workshop will use both California science standards and national science standards to program robots, robotic creatures and robotic vehicles with ROBOTIX, a battery-operated platform designed by Milton Bradley Co. in 1983.

ROBOTICS will also be taught at the Summer Art Academy on Tuesdays and Thursdays during July and August.
