Performances To Grow On presents the Pushcart Players in their production of "Peter and the Wolf" at 4 p.m. Sat., March 7 in the Scherr Forum Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

This show is an adaptation of the traditional Russian folktale set to music by Sergei Prokofiev about the adventure of growing up. Innovation becomes essential as young Peter meets the challenge of survival in the outside world.

The Pushcart Players offers a fully mounted, costumed and orchestrated production with music and puppets that brings a little bit of Broadway to theaters.

Nominated for an Emmy for its two primetime specials on CBS, Pushcart is celebrating its 35th year as a touring ensemble.
