Moorpark hosts 'Rotary Creates Magic' show

The annual "Rotary Creates Magic" show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sat., March 14 at the High Street Arts Theater, 45 E. High St., Moorpark.

The event, sponsored by Camarillo Rotary Club, is a benefit for Camarillo Hospice, a communitybased, volunteer and nonmedical hospice and grief support center serving individuals and families who are facing a life-limiting illness and/or grieving the loss of a loved one. All programs and services are free of charge, and the organization is completely donor funded.

The show is produced by Camarillo resident and magician Paul "Merlin" Dwork, a member of the founding board of Camarillo Hospice 30 years ago.

The event will feature Whit "Pop" Haydn (www.whithaydn .com), Hillel The Balloon Man, David Zirbel, Bob Bolivar and Merlin. All are members of the Magic Castle.

Founded in 1978, Camarillo Hospice has assisted more than 3,500 individuals annually plus another 2,000 to 3,000 via telephone assistance and/or referral.
