The second annual Provident Financial Management Golf Classic will take place Mon., March 9 at the Sherwood Country Club, 320 W. Stafford Road, Thousand Oaks.

Registration opens at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast and putting contest, followed by a shotgun start at 11 a.m.

The event will include silent and live auctions, complimentary barbecue lunch on the ninth hole, and dinner and cocktail party at the Sherwood clubhouse.

The classic will benefit the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program that conducts leukemia and cancer research for infants, children and teens at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

Individual tickets start at $2,500.
