A read-athon will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Feb. 28 at Conejo Elementary School, 280 N. Conejo School Road, Thousand Oaks.

The public is asked to bring food donations. The students' goal is to read 7,000 pages and collect 500 canned goods.
