Newbury Park

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 24, at 12:45 p.m. Feb. 11 at Rancho Conejo Boulevard and Hillcrest Drive; a male, 43, at 12:10 a.m. Feb. 13 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a male, 18, at 12:12 a.m. Feb. 17 at Banyan Park; a female, 26, at 12:40 a.m. Feb. 13 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; and male, 18, at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 40, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery at 3:45 p.m. Feb. 17 at Canyon and Lynn roads. The incident allegedly occurred in the 100 block of Timber Road.

A female, 44, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 4:15 p.m. Feb. 17 in the 2300 block of Michael Drive. The incident allegedly occurred in the 100 block of Timber Road.

A female, 36, and a male, 60, were each cited for battery with minor injuries at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 400 block of Whitegate Road.

A vandal damaged $5,000 worth of property on Feb. 14 or 15 in the 3400 block of Ethel Court.

Someone scratched a vehicle (more than $400 in damage) on Feb. 15 or 16 in the 3300 block of Michael Drive.

Property was stolen from a garage on Feb. 10 in the 3000 block of Deer Valley Avenue.

A burglar attempted to break into five homes on Feb. 15 in the 1600 block of Glider Court.

A burglar entered a garage between 10:35 and 10:40 p.m. Feb. 18 in the 3700 block of Calle Mazatlan.

Graffiti vandalism caused damage to two restrooms at Dos Vientos Park between noon and 5 p.m. Feb. 15.

A business was burglarized on Feb. 16 or 17 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property from a storage bin was stolen between Feb. 9 and 12 at Rancho Dos Vientos and Via El Cerro.

A vehicle break-in occurred on Feb. 14 or 15 in the 2000 block of Wheelwright Lane.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 60, at 11:21 p.m. Feb. 18 at the 101 Freeway and Moorpark Road; a male, 79, at 1:20 a.m. Feb. 16 in the 1100 block of Enfield Circle (the subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident); a male, 44, at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Avenida Del Platino and Calle Diamonte (subject allegedly was involved in a hit-and-run accident, didn't have a license and provided false information to police); and a male, 25, at 10:10 p.m. Feb. 19 on Westlake Boulevard, north of the 101 Freeway.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 47, at 10:40 a.m. Feb. 11 in the 2200 block of Moss Court (a substance believed to be methamphetamine was found in the subject's purse); a male, 41, at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 11 in the 100 block of Summerfield Street; a male, 31, at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 11 at Los Feliz Drive and Thousand Oaks Boulevard (subject possessed a glass pipe with what was believed to be methamphetamine residue); a male, 26, at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 11 at Los Feliz Drive and Thousand Oaks Boulevard (subject allegedly possessed brass knuckles and a loaded gun); a female, 23, at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at an eatery in the 1700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a male, 33, at 11:45 p.m. Feb. 12 in the 400 block of Saddle Trail.

A male, 37, allegedly raised a machete over his head, motioned as if he were going to strike someone with it and said, "I'm going to kill you." The subject was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Feb. 14 in the 1300 block of Calle Pimiento.

A male, 29, allegedly threw his girlfriend to the ground and then threw a television remote at her face. The subject allegedly bruised the woman's face, neck, buttocks and legs, and he was arrested at 12:29 p.m. Feb. 15 in the 900 block of Calle Pensamiento.

For allegedly battering her boyfriend, a female, 33, was cited at 11:25 p.m. Feb. 17 in the first block of Westbury Court.

A female, 40, allegedly threw a ceramic coffee mug at someone's head, causing a laceration, and she was arrested at 5 p.m. Feb. 15 in the first block of Maegan Place.

For allegedly battering her boyfriend, a female, 27, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. Feb. 16 in the 1400 block of Calle Durazno.

A female, 44, allegedly violated a domestic violence restraining order and was cited Feb. 6 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.

A male, 41, admitted to forging several stolen checks Feb. 10 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.

For possessing a syringe and marijuana during a parole search, a male, 44, was cited at 3:10 p.m. Feb. 18 in the 3300 block of Big Sky Drive.

A male, 22, was cited for possessing marijuana and a gravity knife in the rear parking lot of a drugstore in the 300 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles at 9:12 p.m. Feb. 12.

A male, 23, allegedly made eight fraudulent merchandise returns totaling $874 between Jan. 27 and Feb. 2 while working as an assistant manager at a drugstore on E. Avenida de Los Arboles. The crimes were caught on video, and the subject was arrested at 4 p.m. Feb. 18.

A male, 18, was cited for possession of marijuana at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 12 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A male, 22, was cited for the same offense at 10:20 p.m. Feb. 13 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata.

A female, 19, allegedly shoplifted merchandise from a store in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, and she was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 19.

For allegedly tearing down a fence, a male, 25, was charged with vandalism at 1:10 a.m. Feb. 19 in the 1900 block of Montgomery Road. A male, 29, at the scene was also arrested and charged with vandalism.

A male, 42, was arrested on suspicion of threatening someone, making her fear for her life, at 12:45 p.m. Feb. 18 in the 600 block of Warwick Avenue.

A home was vandalized ($2,360 in damage) between Jan. 18 and Feb. 18 in the 3100 block of Foothill Drive.

A home burglary was attempted on Feb. 18 or 19 in the 600 block of Warwick Avenue.

Two shoplifters attempted to steal alcohol from a supermarket in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road around 5 p.m. Feb. 19.

Property was vandalized ($500 in damage) on Feb. 14 or 15 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Unknown assailants entered a home with the intent to cause

FREE bodily harm between 8:15 and 9 p.m. Feb. 14 in the 200 block of Almon Drive.

A burglar attempted to steal more than $400 in valuables between Feb. 11 and 14 in the 700 block of Paige Lane.

A block wall at Colina Middle School was vandalized on Feb. 11 or 12.

A bicycle was stolen at Janss Marketplace between 7:30 and 9 p.m. Feb. 12.

A pizza parlor in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard was burglarized on Feb. 15 or 16. The damage was $300.

A business in the 1700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard was burglarized on Feb. 16 or 17.

The glass door of a business was broken ($600 in damage) on Feb. 14 or 15 in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Gang graffiti caused property damage on Feb. 5 or 6 in the 1200 block of Avenida de Las Flores.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Feb. 14 or 15 in the 500 block of Artisan Road (a GPS unit and iPod were stolen from an unsecured vehicle); on Feb. 16 or 17 in the 200 block of Ramble Ridge Drive (window broken); on Feb. 15 or 16 in the 2200 block of Moss Court (four incidents); on Feb. 16 or 17 in the 2900 block of Luther Avenue; on Feb. 17 in the 3200 block of Luther Avenue; on Feb. 15 or 16 in the 1600 block of Tiburon Court (two vehicles); on Feb. 8 or 9 in the 1700 block of Sandal Wood Street (window broken); on Feb. 12 or 13 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road (three incidents); between Feb. 4 and 9 in the 3400 block of Sunset Drive; between 8 and 8:10 a.m. Feb. 12 in the 900 block of Hampshire Road (window broken); and between Jan. 29 and Feb. 12 in the 500 block of W. Gainsborough Road (window smashed and car radio stolen.)

A female, 37, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 3:15 a.m. Feb. 14 in the 1900 block of Smokey Ridge Avenue. When the subject arrived at the main jail, she allegedly spat in the face of an officer and was subsequently charged with battery.

The following subjects were cited for drinking in public: Two males, ages 50 and 39, at 8:40 a.m. Feb. 13 in the 1000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles; and three males, between the ages of 34 and 49, around 5:40 p.m. Feb. 13 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

Two rings were stolen from a dwelling on Feb. 17 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

For soliciting goods from a catering truck without a permit, a male, 54, was cited at 8:40 a.m. Feb. 18 at Triunfo Canyon and Townsgate roads.

Property was stolen from an eye center in the 600 block of Hampshire Road between 4:05 and 4:13 p.m. Feb. 17.

A wallet was stolen from an office between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 2800 block of Townsgate Road.

A home burglary was attempted between 8:27 and 8:29 p.m. Feb. 17 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.
