Arnold Bresky, MD, will present a "Brain Tune Up" workshop from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in Dickerson Hall, United Methodist Church of Thousand Oaks, 1000 E. Janss Road. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

The event is for baby boomers who want to maintain a strong memory, a caregiver who needs help or anyone who has "senior moments."

Licensed practioners may receive continuing education credits.

Bresky devotes his time to geriatric care and quality of life for the aging as a preventive gerontologist. During the past 10 years, he has crafted the "Brain Tune Up" program which is said to dramatically improve quality of life and reduce suffering.

The workshop is sponsored by the Stephen Ministry and Care Ministries of the church.
