Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Brian T. Moller, son of Christine and Dwight Moller of Westlake Village, was recently promoted to his current rank while serving with amphibious transport dock Precommissioning Unit New York, based at Norfolk, Va.

Moller is a 2004 graduate of Newbury Park High School. He joined the Navy in March 2008.
