Regarding "Goodbye and good riddance to Costco," a letter in the Feb. 5 T.O. Acorn, Karen Hartstein, no, you're not the only person in Newbury Park who was thrilled to see the Costco bulldozers leave.

Lots of our Newbury Park neighbors and I are with you.

We popped the champagne when we read about Costco calling off the project.

Honestly, what were the city of T.O. and its council members thinking- do they ever think, I mean seriously- when they approved the project?

There are already two Costcos within a 20-mile radius!

Traffic congestion and noise pollution at the Wendy Drive exit? Who cares?
