Acorn's editorial wasn't as bad as its rebuttals
      Councilmember Claudia Billde la Peña and her ally, Clint Matkovich, are upset with the Thousand Oaks Acorn for criticizing her contrarian view of council participation at cityrelated conferences.

Opinion piece overlooked antics of council majority
      The editorial in your Feb. 5 edition is irrational, irresponsible and absurd. Each council member on the Thousand Oaks City Council is responsible for approving or disapproving expenditures in the city budget. Ventura County is proud to be the final resting place of the 40th president, and we will honor the fifth anniversary of his passing on June 5.
