Jeffrey McClanahen, 51, was arrested and charged with assaulting two deputies by allegedly lighting and throwing a false explosive device at them at 6:21 a.m. Feb. 1 in the 2400 block of Borchard Road. McClanahen said, according to police, that he was going to "blow up" the deputies with a pipe bomb.
A female, 45, was arrested for allegedly ignoring deputies at 5:35 a.m. Feb. 1 in the 2400 block of Borchard Road.
A male, 28, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:32 a.m. Feb. 2 on Rancho Road, south of Hillcrest Drive.
For allegedly threatening to physically harm his former supervisor at the northbound 101 Freeway and Lynn Road around noon on Jan. 23, a male, 43, was arrested in Simi Valley on Jan. 29.
Money was stolen from Newbury Park High School between Jan. 30 and Feb. 1. The total damage estimate was $5,000.
For allegedly threatening someone, a male, 59, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Feb. 4 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.
On suspicion of being drunk in public, a female, 48, was arrested at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 4 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. At 7:40 a.m. the same day, a male, 50, was also arrested and charged with being drunk in public.
A female, 20, was cited for filing a false police report at 11:15 a.m. Jan. 27 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
Charged with stealing books in the 2400 block of Teller Road on Jan. 14, a male, 46, was arrested in Simi Valley on Feb. 5.
A male, 48, was cited for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run traffic accident at 9 p.m. Jan. 30 in the 3800 block of Calle Loma Vista.
A home burglary was attempted between 9:10 and 10:35 a.m. Feb. 5 in the 200 block of Ensenada Avenue.
An iPod was stolen from a locker on Jan. 26 in the 400 block of Reino Road.
Vandals blew up a mailbox between 5 and 7 p.m. Feb. 4 in the 300 block of Windtree Avenue.
More than $400 in property was stolen between Dec. 23 and Feb. 2 in the 4700 block of Lynn Road.
Graffiti vandalism caused $400 in property damage on Feb. 3 or 4 at Lesser Drive and San Telmo Circle.
Vandals damaged an ATM screen and sprayed a wall and tree with graffiti at the Bank of America on Borchard Road between Jan. 29 and Feb. 2.
Graffiti caused property damage ($500 loss) on Feb. 2 or 3 in the 3800 block of Lesser Drive.
A car was vandalized between Jan. 24 and 28 in the 1700 block of Calle Zafiro. The total damage was $900.
