Robert Wagner comes to town
      Silver screen legend Robert Wagner is coming to town to promote his bestselling book, "Pieces of My Heart." The memoir recounts both joyous and tragic events in Wagner's life, including his younger days watching Clark Gable and Cary Grant golf, and the death of his beloved wife, Natalie Wood.

The show goes on at Wildwood
     'LIVE AND ON STAGE'- Chandler Niemann, left, Christina Benevento and Carah Dorthalina, all fifth-graders, dance to "Please Don't Stop the Music." Wildwood Elementary School entertained students, parents and faculty with its annual talent show. This year's theme was "Rockin' Talent," and last week's show featured more than a dozen different acts. Students played piano, danced, drew and sang. The band also performed.

U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps now accepting a limited number of applicants
      The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps has openings for a limited number of young people ages 11 to 17 to join the crew of Langley Division. The corps is composed of young people who have an interest in seamanship, the military or other seagoing careers.

Celebrating the Chinese New Year at Weathersfield
     CHOPSTICKS FOR COOKIES, TOO— Cooper Bayles, 7, tries to pick up a fortune cookie with chopsticks after he and his first-grade classmates at Weathersfield Elementary School watched a video from Panda Express about the Chinese New Year. Christy Warner, vice president of the PTA, along with other members, worked with Panda Express to provide students last Friday with a video, worksheets and some orange chicken and chow mein to observe the Chinese New Year. CLU hosts chamber concert
      A conservatory Chamber Music Concert will be held at 4 p.m. Sun., Feb. 22 in Overton Hall south of Memorial Parkway at California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks. Advanced cello, flute and violin students of Joyce Geeting, Nancy Marfisi and Melissa Phelps will perform a repertoire of solos and duets.

Ballroom dance classes begin
      Ballroom Workshop, a dance school in operation for 25 years, will host ballroom dancing classes every Wednesday night at the Borderline Bar & Grill, 99 Rolling Oaks Drive, Thousand Oaks. The beginning class stats at 6 p.m. with an intermediate class at 7 p.m. Open dancing will follow from 8 to 10 p.m.
