City needs input on Senior Master Plan

Seniors can help T.O. plan future services, outreach for older residents

The city of Thousand Oaks is planning for a healthy, seniorfriendly community through outreach, advocacy and partnering.

Local seniors are invited to a community meeting to participate in conversation with the city.

The meetings will be held at these times: 6 to 9 p.m. (refreshments provided), Thurs., Feb. 19 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in the Fred Kavli Theatre, and again from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (lunch included) Mon., Feb. 23 at the Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E. Janss Road.

The Thousand Oaks Council on Aging, Conejo Recreation and Park District, local agencies, community senior service providers and community members are collaboratively developing the communitywide comprehensive Senior Adult Master Plan.

Seating is limited, and reservations are required.
