The Thousand Oaks Art Association will host the annual juried show through Feb. 27 at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, 2331-A Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

The reception will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sun., Feb. 8 at the gallery, with an awards ceremony at 5 p.m.

The gallery will be open daily for this show.

Michael Zakian, director of the Fredrick Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University and adjunct professor of art history, will give an informative gallery talk from 7 to 9 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 19 at the gallery.

Zakian is a judge of the juried show. He will discuss his award choices and other pieces in the display.
