Middle school benefits from charity golf shootout
Los Cerritos Middle School is seeking golfers to participate in the Million Dollar Hole-In-One Shootout on Feb. 19, 20, 21 and 22 at the Westlake Driving Range in Westlake Village.
The event is organized by the Optimist Business and Professional Club of Conejo Valley.
For a $20 ticket, golfers get 10 balls and a raffle ticket number. Semifinal and final rounds will be played in the afternoon of Sun., Feb. 22. Tickets are available at the Westlake Golf Club or by calling (805) 492-3674.
This fundraiser will enable Los Cerritos Middle School to upgrade its 7-year-old computers and the school's technology equipment. The golf event will also help other worthy causes.
Sponsorships for the Shootout also support the school, and one major sponsor is extending more than just monetary assistance.
