Day care, preschool offers open house, registration
Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning has partnered with the city of Thousand Oaks, Conejo Valley Unified School District, Conejo Recreation and Park District and First 5 to open the Neighborhood City Center for Young Children at 110 S. Conejo School Road in Thousand Oaks in July.
An information session will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Tues., Feb. 10 in the board room, 1400 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. This session will present the Neighborhood for Learning programs, its childcentered philosophy, stafftochild ratios, tuition, registration and more.
An open house will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Feb. 21 at 110 S. Conejo School Road (next to The Lakes), Thousand Oaks. Registration, program information and children's activities will be available.
The Neighborhood City Center will provide the following services for children up to age 5: stateofthe-art facility, full-day infant and toddler care and education, full-day preschool and child care, educated and trained staff, child-centered and family-focused philosophy, safe family environment, holistic approach for preparing children for school readiness, no-sugar policy and on-site program director.
Hours of operation for the center will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
