Conejo Valley Adult School is introducing its next segment in the Parent Talk lecture series with an event Tues., Feb. 3.

Gary Brainerd will present "The Power of Two," about the importance of a solid marriage. Brainerd is a clinical psychologist specializing in relationship therapy. He presents workshops and seminars for couples, singles and parents.

Brainerd is creator of the online Couple's Workstation and founder of the Couple's Garden, a marriage support program.

The parent talk will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church at 1600 E. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks from 7 to 9 p.m.

Future talks include Nancy CarlssonPaige's "Who's Looking Out for Our Kids?" on Tues., March 31 andJane Nelsen's "Discipline That Teaches: Positive Discipline That Works" in May.
