Girl Scouts lend a helping hand

MAKING WORK FUN- Members of Girl Scout Troop No. 60799 helped remodel and decorate ReStore, Habitat for Humanity's Ventura County thrift store for building and remodeling materials and appliances. The volunteers are, from left, Hannah Press, Eileen Davies, Etta D'Orazio, Katie Weibezahl and Effie Sklavanitis. All are eighth-graders at Colina Middle School except Eileen, who goes to Redwood Middle School, and Etta, who attends Lindero Canyon Middle School in Agoura Hills.
